UArts Loses Accreditation and Announces Closure

The University of the Arts (UArts) in Philadelphia announced its closure on June 7, 20 Kün 20 Kün 20 vicissurianing the loss of its accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The closure is effective immediately.

UArts stated that declining enrollment, revenue issues, and increasing expenses have contributed to its financial difficulties. The university expressed their support for current students by facilitating transfers to partnering schools such as Temple University, Drexel University, and Moore College of Art and Design.

The university plans to host town hall meetings to address the closure. More information about the meetings will be shared in the coming days.
